The disturbing view of the White House tarnished by a UFC cage match arena and Monster energy drink ads (and a weigh-in Saturday defacing the Lincoln Memorial), is all part of an “Idiocracy”-style event giving new meaning to Flag Day — the nation’s standing is indeed flagging. All this, and UFC Freedom 250 (Paramount+, 8 p.m.) is not free. You’ll have to subscribe to the administration friendly company or pony up $8.99 for pay-per-view, whose first match starts at 4. 

In actual sports, the Stanley Cup finals have Carolina at Vegas (ABC, 6 p.m.) in Game 6; the Hurricanes lead the series 3-2 and could win it all tonight, as the Knicks did Saturday.

World Cup games have Germany vs. Curaçao (Fox, 1 p.m.) from Houston, Netherlands vs. Japan (Fox, 4 p.m.), from Arlington, Texas, Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.) from Philadelphia and Sweden vs. Tunisia (Fox Sports 1, 10 p.m.) from Mexico. 

Public television brings back a couple of its dramas for new seasons. On “Patience” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings), the detective investigates the death of a photographer. And “Grantchester” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) returns for its 11th and final season with a death at a drive-in fundraiser. 

Terry Crews hosts the new culinary competition “100 Cooks” (Food, 7 p.m.) in which way too many home cooks compete in a number of challenges. 

The American history series “The Land” (CNN, 9 p.m.) follows the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Mexican-American War, and the rise of California at 10. 

“Best of the World with Antonio Porowski” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) ends its short run with a visit to New York City and then, in London at 10. 

“The Vampire Lestat” (AMC, 9 p.m.) revisits his origins in Auvergne. 

The first season ends for the spin-off “Property Brothers: Under Pressure” (HGTV, 9 p.m.). 

“Collector’s Call” (MeTV, 6:30 p.m.) finds a drove of items from Disney theme parks. 

There’s a trip to Block Island on “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” (Bravo, 9 p.m.). 

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) react to Porsha’s confession.

An engaged couple threatened when an ex moves next door on “Ex Door Neighbor” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

“The Way Home” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.) celebrates New Year’s Eve 1925.

Strong winds affect “Naked and Afraid: Global Showdown” (Discovery, 8 p.m.). 

“In the Eye of the Storm: Chasers” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) chases a twister in Alabama. 

Questionable tourist attractions are part of our “Hazardous History with Henry Winkler” (History, 9 p.m.). 

Now 40 years old: “Top Gun” (CW, 7:30 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies has a couple of films about social climbing, “The Apartment” (8 p.m.) and “The Secret of My Success” (10:15 p.m.). Douglas Fairbanks stars in the midnight silent movies, “A Modern Musketeer” (12:15 a.m.), followed by the imports “Ariel” (2 a.m.) and “César” (3:30 a.m.). 

Baseball includes Miami at Pittsburgh (Peacock, 12:15 p.m.), Yankees at Toronto (MLB, 1:30 p.m.), Cubs at San Francisco (ABC, 3:10 p.m.) and Texas at Boston (NBC, 7:20 p.m.). 

WNBA action has Washington at New York (NBA, 1 p.m.). 

The College World Series has Troy vs. Ole Miss (ESPN, 2 p.m.) and West Virginia vs. North Carolina (ESPN, 7 p.m.).
