Other movies new to cable tonight include Gwyneth Paltrow singing in “Country Strong” (Starz, 9 p.m.) with Tim McGraw — in an odd double feature with “Burlesque” (Starz, 7 p.m.). And then there’s Rob Schneider in “Big Stan” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.).
The second season starts for “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp” (VH1 Classic, 10 p.m.) with 14 hopefuls teaming up with B-listers Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Mark Hudson, who are the counselors and coaches. Guest stars this season will include Paul Stanley of Kiss, Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Marky Ramone of the Ramones. The winner gets to perform with Sammy Hagar. Kimberly Caldwell hosts.
ABC gives up on its Harry Potter Saturday night summer series and goes for the recent hit that premiered on the Disney Channel, “Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension” (ABC, 8 p.m.).
