A couple of quality shows turn out the lights tonight.
Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” (FX, 10 p.m.), which helped change TV with its unique and sometimes surreal perspective, comes to an end after four seasons. The title of the final episode riffs off an old “Bob Newhart Show” finale, “It Was All a Dream.”
And “The Good Wife” spinoff that was often the most political series around, “The Good Fight” (Paramount+, streaming) has its final episode after six seasons.
A new police drama from David E. Kelley, “The Calling” (Peacock, streaming) concerns a New York police detective whose work is infused with a little Jewish mysticism. Barry Levinson directs, and it’s got a Hans Zimmer score. Juliana Canfield, Karen Robinson and Michael Mosely also star.
Dan Levy of “Schitt’s Creek” fame hosts the new culinary competition “The Big Brunch” (HBO Max, streaming).
New holiday movies tonight include Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet in the romance “Falling for Christmas” (Netflix, streaming).
There is also a Yuletide rom com “The First Noelle” (BET+, streaming) stars Todd Anthony as a guy dating two women named Noelle, played by Novi Brown and and Lala Milan.
Not having anything to do with the holidays is the French action thriller “Lost Bullet 2” (Netflix, streaming), a sequel to the 2020 original.
