A likely touch of class during holiday week is the streaming premiere of the Leonard Bernstein biopic “Maestro” (Netflix, streaming), co-written, produced and directed by its star, Bradley Cooper. It’s getting a lot of Oscar buzz, not only for Cooper but for his co-star Carey Mulligan. The cast also includes Matt Bomer, Sarah Silverman, Maya Hawke and Michael Urie.
For a younger audience, a new series based on Rick Riordan’s novel series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” (Disney+, streaming). Walker Scobell stars as the 12-year-old with powers he derived from Zeus, played by Lance Reddick in one of his final roles before he died. Others popping up in the series include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Megan Mullally, and Glynn Truman.
“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) concludes its better-than-average season with a three hour finale. It ought to be better than the two-hour season finale of “The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.).
Filmmaker Daniel Northcott documented his travels around the world with his camera, but also by taking a souvenir from each place. When his health started to fail, he started to think he was under a Mayan curse, so he rushes to put everything back before he dies in the resulting film “Daniel” (HBO, 9 p.m.), making its debut today.
If you watched any of the three Portuguese-language seasons, the surviving couples get updates on the special “Love is Blind Brazil: After the Altar” (Netflix, streaming).
“Silent Night: A Song for the World” (CW, 9 p.m.) tells the story of the 225 year old Austrian hymn. Hugh Bonneville narrates the special in which a number of singers provide their versions, including Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, Katharine McPhee, Josh Groban and Gavin Rossdale, among others.
This year’s “Barry Manilow’s A Very Barry Christmas” (NBC, 8 p.m.) gets a replay as do both “Christmas at the Opry” (NBC. 9 p.m.) and “CMA Country Christmas” (ABC, 10 p.m.).
Gary’s misdeeds collide on “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.).
“Ms. Pat Settles It” (BET, 10 p.m.) hears some roommate cases.
Seems like trips are part of the regular seasons, but here’s the fourth go-round for the spin-off “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).
“The Real Housewives of Miami” (Bravo, 10:20 p.m.) has some Palm Beach pandemonium.
Bret Michaels trades songs with country star Chris Janson on “CMT Crossroads” (CMTV, 9 p.m.).
“Expedition Unknown” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) looks for a lost treasure in the Caribbean.
Drilling resumes in the caverns on “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch” (Discovery, 10:08 p.m.).
“Pawn Stars Do America” (History, 8 p.m.) goes to Louisville.
