A new two-part series on “Nova” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) looks at how the international space station was built and the work it’s facilitated. .

A first aid kit for kids is pitched on “Shark Tank” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

“The Amazing Race” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) goes skydiving in Romania.

Halloween is over, and so are the seasons of “The Friday the 13th Murders” (Investigation Discovery, 10 p.m.) and “The Real Murders on Elm Street” (Investigation Discovery, 9 p.m.), though the latter has a Christmas-themed episode. 

“Mountain Men” (History, 8 p.m.) survive a bear invasion. 

TLC, which once stood for The Learning Channel, could now be titled The Loathsome Channel with two hours of “Dangerously Obese” (TLC, 8 and 9 p.m.) making way for “About Face” (TLC, 10 p.m.), about a woman with a huge birthmark. 

“Expedition Unknown” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) looks at the Great Pyramid. 

Gary tries to make amends on “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.). 

“Expedition Files” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) tries to dig up Jimmy Hoffa. 

As you mull election results, Turner Classic Movies has a night of political thrillers, with “The Day of the Jackal” (8 p.m.), “Z” (10:30 p.m.), ”The Manchurian Candidate” (12:45 a.m.), “Blow Out” (3 a.m.) and “Executive Action” (5 a.m.).
