In the made for TV movie, “The Trails of Cate McCall” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), Kate Beckinsale stars as a former lawyer looking to be reinstated at the bar so she can get custody of her daughter. A little late for the holiday, a woman’s fantasies about a new life turn real onApril Fool’s Day in the film “Lucky in Love” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.). It stars Jessica Szohr, whose previous prominent role was in “Piranha 3-D.”

The first full Saturday of baseball this season includes Minnesota at Cleveland (Fox Sports 1, 1:05 p.m.), San Francisco at Dodgers (Fox Sports 1, 4:10 p.m.). And a bunch of baseball movies on Turner Classic Movies: “Field of Dreams” (8 p.m.), “Angels in the Outfield” (10 p.m.) and “It Happens Every Spring” (midnight).

A woman is suspected of shooting her boyfriend on “48 Hours” (CBS, 10 p.m.) one of several newsmagazines on tonight, including “Dateline” (NBC, 8 p.m.), “Nightline Prime” (ABC, 9 p.m.) and “20/20” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

The new series “Prepper Hillbillies” (Destination America, 10 p.m.), about stocking moonshine and vittles, comes after a couple new episodes of “Hillbilly Blood” (Destination America, 9 p.m.), which is not about snaggletooth vampires.
