Usher sings “Georgia on My Mind” and “What’d I Say” as part of a Ray Charles salute that represents President Obama’s final “In Performance” event at the White House. Demi Lovato, Yolanda Adams, Brittany Howard, Leon Bridges, Anthony Hamilton, Sam Moore, Jussie Smollett and the Band Perry are part of the event taped this week whose full title is “Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles: In performance at the White House” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).

The ramp up to Academy Awards weekend begins with Robin Roberts interviewing nominees Brie Larson, Bryan Cranston, Sylvester Stallone, Matt Damon and Ridley Scott on “20/20” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Yu Shu-Lien from Ang Lee’s film 16 years ago for the sequel “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny” (Netflix, streaming), a martial arts film that pits her against Jason Scott Lee’s Hades Dai.

Also new on the service, “Theo Von: No Offense” (Netflix, streaming), a stand up comedy special from the Louisiana entertainer.

“Vice” (HBO, 11 p.m.) looks at small time pot dealers and advances in curing the blind.

The dog park is a fertile area for exploration on “Animals” (HBO, 11:30 p.m.).

The competition in Colombia in “The Amazing Race” (CBS, 8 p.m.) gets claustrophobic for one team.

Mark Ruffalo, Gen. Michael Hayden, Joanna Coles, Michael Eric Dyson and Fran Leibowitz are guests on a new “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.).

Molly has a boyfriend on “Dr. Ken” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

Whoopi Goldberg guest stars as a city council speaker on “Blue Bloods” (CBS, 10 p.m.).

“The Vampire Diaries” (The CW, 8 p.m.) finally has its crossover episode with “The Originals” (The CW, 9 p.m.).

Last year’s animated “Inside Out” (Starz, 8 p.m.) makes its premium cable debut.
