“Good Girls Revolt” (Amazon, streaming) picks up at just about the time “Mad Men” was ending and the women in the offices of Newsweek are just starting to exert a little push back at the gender discrimination and sexism in the business. Based on a book by Lynn Povich, the series features Genevieve Angelson, Anna Camp and Erin Drake as young sisters in the cause. Alas, Grace Gummer looks like she’ll appear just once, in the first episode, as Nora Ephron. And this may be the first series to have a character named Eleanor Holmes Norton.

The British comedian returns to HBO with a new sketch show, her first since 1999. “Tracey Ullman’s Show” (HBO, 11 p.m.) almost buries her versatility beneath increasingly complex prosthetic makeup. But she sure does look like Judi Dench when she is supposed to.

Amy Poehler takes up the cause of domestic workers in the latest episode of “America Divided” (Epix, 9 p.m.).

Someone is likely hired to clean the red carpet after the American Humane Hero Dog Awards 2006 (Hallmark, 8 p.m.).

Katharine McPhee performs, which the dogs will appreciate.

One more time for “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

“Quarry” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.) ends its short first season.

The final batch t of Friday night Terror Classic Movies on Turner Classic Movies concentrates on the Universal classics, “Dracula” (8 p.m.), “The Mummy” (9:30 p.m.), “The Invisible Man” (11 p.m.), “The Wolf Man” (12:15 a.m.), “The Black Cat” (1:30 a.m.), “The Uninvited” (2:45 a.m.) and “Island of Lost Souls” (4:30 a.m.).

NBA action includes Cleveland at Toronto (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and Golden State at New Orleans (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.).
