Turner Classic Movies spends a second straight Saturday saluting the Fleischer Brothers — or at least Richard Fleischer, who directed “Fantastic Voyage” (8 p.m.) and “Armored Car Robbery” (10 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “Brighton Rock” (midnight), followed by “Walk on the Wild Side” (2 a.m.) and “Red Sun” (4 a.m.).

College football begins another packed Saturday at noon with games that include Oklahoma vs. Texas (ABC), Maryland at Ohio State (Fox), Arkansas at Mississippi (ESPN), South Carolina at Tennessee (ESPN2), West Virginia at Baylor (Fox Sports 1) and Northern Illinois at Toledo (CBS Sports).

Games at 3:30 p.m. include Boise State at BYU (ABC), Georgia at Auburn (CBS), Florida State at North Carolina (ESPN), Wake Forest at Syracuse (ESPN2), Ball Site at Western Michigan (ESPNU) and SMU at Navy (CBS Sports).

Preseason basketball includes Atlanta at Memphis (NBA, 8 p.m.).

Preseason hockey has Carolina at Nashville (NHL, 4 p.m.), Rangers vs. Islanders (NHL, 7 p.m.) and Anaheim at Los Angeles (NHL, 10:30 p.m.).

Auto racing includes the ISMA SportsCar Championship (NBC, noon) at Virginia International Raceway, and NASCAR’s Drive for the Cure 250 (NBC, 3 p.m.). 

Jade Bird and Dayglow host a new “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings).

Kim Kardashian hosts a new “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Halsey as musical guest. The 10 o’clock replay is a 1997 episode with Brendan Fraser and Bjork.
