Monday TV: ‘Independent Lens’ Returns

The documentary series “Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) begins its new season with “Cured,” chronicling the effort to remove homosexuality from being considered a mental disorder. 

“We’re There” (HBO, ) the series in which drag queens enlist small town straight people to perform, starts its second season.

The cast reacts to the first trailer of the show on “The Big Leap” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“The Baby-Sitters Club” (Netflix, streaming) returns for a second season. 

Two episodes constitute the season finale for “Roswell, New Mexico” (CW, 8 p.m.).

“9-1-1” (Fox, 8 p.m.) deals with a case of a truck crashing into a high school homecoming parade. 

Battle rounds begin and Jason Aldean, Kristin Chenoweth, Dierks Bentley and Camila Cabello are enlisted as coaches on “The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.). 

“Love it Or List It” (HGTV, 8 p.m.) has a season premiere.
