Friday TV: Maya Rudolph Takes the ‘Loot’

Maya Rudolph stars in “Loot” (Apple TV+, streaming), about a divorced billionairess who tries clumsily to help out the charitable foundation under her name. The cast includes Nat Faxon, Ron Funches and Joel Kim Booster. 

A filmed version of the off-Broadway coming-of-age story “Trevor: The Musical” (Disney+, streaming) has its debut. Alyssa Emily Marvin and Holden William Hagelberger. 

In the new limited series “American Anthems” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings), country artists meet hometown heroes and write songs about and for them. First up is Jennifer Nettles. 

The 49th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards (CBS, 9 p.m.) returns to primetime. Michael Bolton performs. Kevin Frazier and Nichelle Turner of “Entertainment Tonight” are hosts. 

Mr. Bean is back, as comic actor Rowan Atkinson battles an insect in the new series ”Man vs. Bee” (Netflix, streaming). 

“Downton Abbey: A New Era” (Peacock, streaming) makes its way to the small screen. 

The Spanish drama “Money Heist” gets an Eastern remake in “Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area Part 1” (Netflix, streaming).
