WorldofDanceJennifer Lopez produces and is one of the judges on the new “World of Dance” (NBC, 10 p.m.), the latest summer reality talent competition in which a variety of movement is welcome to compete. Ne-Yo and Derek Hough join her at the judges’ table; Jenna Dewan Tatum is host.

The new show may sap the novelty dance troupe participation on “America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 8 p.m.), which returns for its 12th season with a new host: Tyra Banks replacing Nick Cannon. Returning to the judges’ table there are Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell.

The fifth season of “House of Cards” (Netflix, streaming) drops at once, with President Frank Underwood still campaigning for his second term amid a terrorist crisis. His wife Claire (Robin Wright) is his running mate; Joel Kinnaman plays his Republican opponent. But can it stand up against continuing coverage of an even crazier administration?

Also new online, a standup special, “Sarah Silverman: A Speck of Dust” (Netflix, streaming) and the second season of the Bill Furr animated series “F is for Family” (Netflix, streaming).

One of the most overlooked new dramatic series last year is back with a second season, “Animal Kingdom” (TNT, 9 p.m.), about a fictional crime family in Southern California headed by a moll portrayed by Ellen Barkin. Among her sons is the always intense Shawn Hatosy.

The revived “Prison Break” (Fox, 9 p.m.) concludes its season.

“The Americans” (FX, 10 p.m.) has its fifth season finale.

And it’s the last episode ever for “Imaginary Mary” (ABC, 9:30 p.m.), which wasn’t picked up for a second season. The network’s other talking creature comedy, “Downward Dog” (ABC, 8 p.m.) is doing much better.

The concluding episode of “Victorian Slum House” (PBS, 8 p.m.) brings the families into the 20th century.

The two part “America: Promised Land” (History, 9 p.m.) concludes with a look at the effect of the Industrial Revolution.

Tejeano, zydeco, Hawaiian and Hopi music is spotlighted in the third episode of “American Epic” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings), that also takes a look at Mississippi John Hurt.

One of the earliest reality shows one wouldn’t expect to see back is back: “Fear Factor” (MTV, 10 p.m.), albeit on cable. The rapper Ludacris is the host this time.

A new talk show, “Fearless with Tim Ferriss” (DirecTV, 8 p.m.) takes its bow with first guest the illusionist David Blaine.

A wild night causes a love triangle on “Below Deck Mediterranean” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

“Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations” (Travel, 9 p.m.) goes to Newfoundland and, at 9:30, Thailand.

A dungeon master is killed on “iZombie” (The CW, 9 p.m.).

On a new “Truth & Iliza” (Freeform, 10 p.m.), Eliza looks at technology.

Elizabeth enters a beauty pageant on “7 Little Johnstons” (TLC, 10 p.m.).

Paige struggles to keep up in school on “Famous in Love” (Freeform, 9 p.m.).

The month-long 56-film, Tuesday night spotlight on Clark Gable concludes with “It Started in Naples” (8 p.m.), “Mogambo” (10 p.m.), “The Misfits” (12:15 a.m.), “Run Silent, Run Deep” (2:30 a.m.) and “Key to the City” (4:15 a.m.).

Baseball includes Dodgers at St. Louis (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and Washington at San Francisco (ESPN, 10 p.m.).

First round play continues in the French Open (Tennis, 6 a.m., 2 p.m.).

In WNBA action, it’s Los Angeles at New York (ESPN2, 7 p.m.).
