Gina Rodriguez, who has already proven herself an appealing comedy lead In “Jane the Virgin,” returns to star in “Not Dead Yet” (ABC, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.), about a newspaper obit writer who is visited by the ghosts of some of her subjects (including one played by Martin Mull, above). The series seems to seek the same sensibility of that popular “Ghosts” show on another network. Also in the cast: Lauren Ash, Hannah Simone and a revolving series of guest star spirits.

The activist and NBA great who died last summer at 88 is profiled in the new documentary “Bill Russell: Legend” (Netflix, streaming), which includes one of his last interviews. 

Super Bowl week means another look at “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials” (CBS, 8 p.m.) with examples going back 40 years. Boomer Esiason and Daniela Rush host. 

From Kuwait comes the drama “The Exchange” (Netflix, streaming), inspired by women who pioneered that country’s stock market in the 1980s. 

“The Flash” (CW, 8 p.m.) returns for its ninth and final season, which like its main character, will go by quickly. 

The making of the recent sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is shown in a new episode of “Marvel Studio Assembled” (Disney+, streaming).

“Nova” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) looks at the contribution of West African scientists to a recent NASA mission. 

“Vanderpump Rules” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) returns for its 10th season about relationships at a restaurant.
