There is much to dread about the annual ramped-up consumer orgy known as Black Friday. But one bright light is the return of the Target ad campaign that brings back the manic Yuletide shopper who is in training for the day.

Bamford’s character, in big pearls and holiday appropriate clothes, seems as batty as last year when she went on the elliptical, pulled heavy shopping carts uphill and did a crazy sprint into the aisles, expressing what she called Obsessive Christmas Disorder.

She’s back again, in training for next week’s sales by coming up with tips and plans, among he handful of ideas she’s got this year is visualizing a path to her cherished goal: the doorbuster.

Enjoy the nuttiness while you can: What we learned from last year is that she tends to disappear along with the $400 flatscreen, soon after Black Friday.
